How We're Going to Help

A good pair of boots can cost a wildland firefighter $500 to $800, lasting 3-4 seasons before needing to be re-soled or replaced. Do they get a stipend you ask? Yes, they get an annual clothing stipend that covers one pair of pants or ½ a boot. They must supply much of what they’ll need to do their jobs as wildland firefighters.

Some wildland firefighters are contractors and are not affiliated with a department. When they are not affiliated, all personal gear is out of pocket, to include their bug out shelters which is an important part of their safety (these shelters cost roughly $600).

Our mission is to help these humble individuals get the boots, socks, and foot care items they need to maintain a mission ready status. A piece of comfort that is necessary while gritting through grueling 16-20 hour days of manual labor for days to weeks at a time.
