We are beyond grateful for our donors!

Your generosity is making an impact in the wildland fire community. Check out who we've supported in the first 90 days!!!!

The first person Operation Wild Step helped was a wildland firefighter from California - a rookie just starting his journey. Operation Wild Step was able to outfit him with the boots of his choosing.

Sarah had the opportunity to meet some of the Southern Colorado Interagency Wildland Fire Team and donate footcare supplies to them. These packs contain blister prevention, blister treatment, foot powder, and a little morale with some fancy band-aids.

HERO ALERT: The SOCO Interagency Wildland Fire Team isn't just fearless, they're a nonprofit too!!

Local to Colorado, this volunteer wildland firefighter had a boot blowout while paying tribute to the 9-11 tragedy by doing the Manitou Incline with his team. Very quickly after, he got spun up for a 2-week trip to fight a California wildfire. We were able to get this fellow veteran boots within a week of needing our assistance. To help his deployment with new boots; we packed in the blister prevention and treatment.
